327 Miles Away From Paradise

As it was the first step of the rest of a life,
the last one of a long way home;
As it was just the big jump in life,
like that leap of faith everyone needs to go;

I left that magic forest and didn't look back,
- Will I become a statue made of salt? -
with a guitar, a picture and a cat,
heavy weight in my soul and my heart.

All that magic, all that laugh,
all that music, all that stuff...
Sunsets and songs, now it's over;
I'll be missing you till I'd realise
We're 327 miles away from Paradise.

As it was the shrine of Peace,
a sanctuary I'd always need,
Thinking it'll last for years.
You were my place to feel.

And it broke just like a jar,
like a crystal balloon 'gainst the wall,
all the wishes we praid for
exploded like a wave on the shore.

All that magic, all that laugh,
all that music, all that stuff...
Sunsets and songs, now it's over;
I'll be missing you till I'd realise
We're 327 miles away from Paradise.

And all that silent vows
we shared with the staring stars
kept in the sky like white pearls
in a deep close oyster.

All that magic, all that laugh,
all that music, all that stuff...
Sunsets and songs, now it's over;
I'll be missing you till I'd realise
We're 327 miles away from Paradise.
We were 327 miles closer to Paradise.
